Rolling Thunder Racegear was setup 3 years ago to design, supply, and market exclusively up market racing merchandise for World Series Sprintcars. It all started with a call from World Series Race Director and owner Wade Aunger to Mike Cowan Director of Head’s Caps in Melbourne. World Series were in a need for someone to take total control of the merchandise and build a special purpose truck and trailer to go to the events and sell directly to the race fans.

It took 4 months from the start to the finished stage of the truck and trailer combination, we started by ordering a brand new Ford F 350 series twin cab truck, and purchased a fifth wheel race car trailer off Super Sedan hot foot Wayne Belk. Wayne had decided to sit out the following race season, and concentrate on his business, this was great for Mike Cowan as the basics were already there. After 4 months the they were ready to roll and head off to Bunbury in Western Australia, for the 1st round of World Series Sprintcars. From that date the rig has performed superbly and is still in action around the race circuits today.

During the last 3 years the merchandise has improved with better designs, better quality and sales have improved from the first year out of sight. This years range of products have been increased again and we are hoping for another great year around the tracks.
